A cross cut into an old wood door, printed as a scroll-style hanging poster with a natural wood hanger, opening onto a blazing New England hillside - textured, easy to display, and full of story.
The Photograph
I found this door on a New England backroad in October, drawn to its hand-forged iron scrollwork and the simple cross shape cut through its center. Through that opening, a white farmhouse with a red roof sits tucked into a hillside turning gold, rust, and crimson. Finished top and bottom with a natural wood hanger and cord, this piece displays like a woven wall hanging rather than a traditional print.
