Savannah Oak Alley - Framed Print

from $49.99

Step beneath the oaks, and the whole world goes quiet.

The Photograph

This framed print captures a live oak alley in the Lowcountry near Savannah, Georgia - a sandy plantation road enclosed by two centuries of live oak growth, the branches arching together into a single canopy heavy with Spanish moss. I photographed this scene early one morning, when a narrow break in the leaves let a shaft of sunlight run straight down the center of the road. It's one of the most humbling places I've stood with a camera, and I wanted the framed presentation to give it the formality it deserves.

This piece arrives professionally framed and ready to hang - no separate framing trip required. The finished frame gives the photograph a sense of occasion, well suited to a dining room, stairway, or any space where guests pause.
